So because Hinalei has started on solids I really wanted to get her a little booster seat so I could feed her more properly. Well I really didn't have the money to afford one the other day when I went shopping and so I crossed my fingers that someone would chuck one in the free bin at TVA! And guess what?? Yup!! I got one! I went to check the mail and there was one sitting just outside of the TVA office! What a heaven sent! I scrubbed it up and I think she looks great in her little chair. Heres to happy feeding times!

The Laughing Bear from Great Grandma
Great Grandma Savaiinaea loves Hinalei I mean she really loves her, she comes over to see her and whenever we go to the house everyone else has to be really tricky about getting Hinalei away from Great Grandma for a hold because Grandma loves to hold and talk to Hinalei in Samoan. Anyways Saturday Night Great Grandma, Aunty Ina and Nani come over with this beautiful little bear for Hinalei but the funniest part is that the bear laughs if you push on its foot. Great Grandma had such a great time playing with Hinalei and the bear and they sat their laughing for ages. It was so sweet.

Thanks Great Grandma Savaiinaea!!!
%%% 4 month 2 week check up %%%
Today was Hinaleis 4 month 2 week check up. She is weighing in at 16.03 pounds. She is also 24.5 inches. I reckon that their measurement stuff must be out of date because she just seems bigger than that!....lol... but she is healthy and that is the important thing. She also got three more shots today and was a brave girl once again.

And in other non related news I got my receipt for my green card papers! They have begun to be processed! I am so so happy. This picture is for Jenna who wanted to see my curls I put in my hair.

%%% Farewell to Aunty Zandria %%%
One of my greatest friends who seriously is just another sister in my books left Hawaii today to return home to NZ to prepare for her mission. She is one of those friends that will do anything for you and loves you no matter what. She is so choice and I know she will make a great missionary!!! Miss you Aunty! Can't wait to see you back!

$$$ Aljay and Cassandra's Wedding $$$
Today was Aljay and Cassandras wedding and everyone from Pesega 5th was there. The Merediths, the Fuimaonos, the Tavanas, some of the Va'aulus and a lot of other people from the ward. It was so choice to catch up with all of them! Guess what? Dodgey Meredith got released from his mission yesterday!! Yup! So he was there to. Check out Hinalei with all her Aunty and Uncles. Oh and as a random point... for some reason apparently everyone in Samoa heard that Hinaleis name was ....Rawinia!!!

Solid Food Time! $$$
Hinalei is now to the point where it seems that my breastmilk is just not enough so I have added bananas and rice cereal to her diet. She seems to like it a lot! She really loves the spoon and bites down in it whenever I put it in her mouth. She loves also to spit the food out when she is talking to me while eating. Check out the cheeky faces from when she is finished eating.
Bath Time!
At the beckoning of my sister Jenna here are some updated pictures of Hinalei having a bath and also a video of her taking a bath. We took modesty precautions...lol...
Thumb sucking :-(
So one thing I am so against is Hinalei sucking her thumb because I was a thumb sucker and I have screwed up teeth and also it took me ages to break the habit and it is not something I want her to go through! However check out what I caught my little girl doing while watching Aladin tonite.
Farewell Uncle George!
I worked in the New Zealand Village for 3 years, now the Kaumatua of the village is graduated or retired. Today was his farewell and it was a lovely occasion, we had an awesome day and some really lovely things were said. Uncle George has been an influence in my life as far as making my stay in Hawaii more enjoyable. He took care of me just like a grandfather and I love him so much!
