Pretty Hat and Flower

Hinalei is at that age now where she is starting to sit up and look at the camera and make lots of funny faces! I love taking picture of my little girl!! Tonight we were just hanging together watching "Get a clue"and I thought I would take some cute pictures! :-D

Harry Potter and Josephs B'day

Joes Birthday! Yay! 2 years since we have been together!!! We went to Harry Potter, we were slighty disappointed by the lack of fighting scenes but otherwise we totally enjoyed it!

Funny Note

Funny story, Joe goes to eat a bowl of cereal and he is holding Hinalei in his lap. As he goes to take the first spoonful he says to Hinalei "Don't kid me please." As he puts the spoon his mouth Hinalei gives an almight kick knocking the spoon out of his mouth which causes him to spill half his bowl of cereal up his arm! He goes to glare at Hinalei only to see a big smile on her face! Poor Joe!

:-D Hinalei is 5 months old :-D

I can't believe my little girl is already 5 months. Right now she is into making fart sounds and also arching her back over her pillow and rolling herself backwards! She also in my opinion can say "MUM" but only says it when she is really upset and wants to be picked up...so cute! Well I didn't want to do anything fancy today as far as picture taking. Here are some cute shots of her in her 5 months!

A favorite!

Okay so I am always writing about Hinalei but I thought I would follow in the footsteps of my sisters and blog about one of my favorite dishes. This is buffalo wings. I love them so much and I pretty much craved them my whole pregnancy. I was so sick of paying pizza hut $16.00 everytime I wanted them that I went online, found a recipe and now I can enjoy them anytime!!! ...lol... I love them!

Here is the recipe for those who want some too!!!

Buffalo Wings Recipe

Ingredients

2 lbs chicken wings (about 12 wings)
3 Tbsp butter, melted
4 Tbsp bottled hot pepper sauce (like Crystal or Frank's Original)
1 Tbsp paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Create a marinade by stirring together the melted butter, hot pepper sauce, paprika, salt, cayenne pepper and black pepper. Pour all but 2 tablespoons of the marinade over the chicken pieces in the plastic bag. (Reserve marinade for coating after the pieces come out of the oven.) Seal bag and let marinate at room temperature for half an hour. When marinating is finished, drain marinade and discard bag.

Place wing pieces on the rack of a broiler pan. Broil 4 to 5 inches from the heat for about 10 minutes on each side, until chicken is tender and no longer pink. Remove from oven and baste with reserved marinade. Serve with ranch sauce!!! YUM!!!!!!

Hanging with Daddy %%%

Joe currently works two jobs so he doesn't get to spend much time with his little princess although I know that she loves her daddy so much because she will wake up out of her sleep whenever he walks in the door, without fail even if he doesn't say a word. Here are some cute pictures of Hinalei and her dad.

Playing in Niras Pool

Our awesome neighbours the Alembos brought a little wading pool and always invite Hinalei over for a swim. Hinalei loves the water and especially chilling in her floaty! Yay! For summer days.

What you looking at?

Proof!

So alot of people think that Hinalei looks a lot like me. Well check out this picture my sister found! This is a picture of ME (Danielle) with my parents at about 4 -5 months of age. See anything really familiar about the little girl??? Scary right!!! Well at least it proves the saying "Like mother like daughter!"
