Happy Thanksgiving All!

We get to celebrate thanksgiving a day early than the rest of the world in NZ. We had a turkey with all the trimmings. It was delicious. I am so thankful for all my friends, family, the gospel, a healthy baby, my name, my heritage, the breathe of life and my husband who I miss dearly! See you soon hunny!

Hinalei Playing With Uncle Ricky

My gorgeous little Kiwi

These are some shots of our little princess on the garden at my parents house. They have just put down the grass and she loves to play on it. I miss Hawaii but I am loving being home.

Fun with the cousins!

Last night after scriptures we had the mattresses out and Uncle Dans little kids over for a sleepover. Everyone was suppose to be watching Australian Idol but Hinalei started kicking her legs and then her cousins started copying her which only made her go for it more and then it turned into this super cute fun game! Enjoy and think about how great a workout this is! Laugh OUT Loud!!!

A new toy!

This video is of Hinalei with a new toy from her Nanny Ra. Her nanny is determined to fill the house with toys for Hinalei which I am so grateful for especially because then they can come home in mum's bag :-P . This one teaches, ABC's, numbers, sing songs etc and it also can help teach your little one to walk. She loves to walk around with it but the wheels are actually a little to fast and so we have to support her! Enjoy Papa!!

Chasing the towers!

This video is of Hinalei scuffling (a combination of crawling and shuffling) as she goes to knock down some dominos towers. She absolutely loves to do this so I had the towers set up around the living room and she would go after them! It was so awesome and so funny!!! I just love watching this little girl go!!

Playing with Uncle Ricky!

Here is a cute video of Hinalei here in NZ with her Uncle Ricky. We thought he was putting her to sleep but they had other plans in mind.

Hinalei 9 month!

Hinalei was 9 months on November 9, 2009. She weighed in at 20.8 pounds and measured 28 inches. She is beautiful, happy and has a light about her that draws people to her! She loves to move around and kick her legs really fast. She loves the water. She loves being in NZ and especially being with her Nanny Ra and Uncle Dan!

So Long FAREWELL!!

Actually we will be back December 29th for anyone who wants to make us dinner that night. Hinalei and I are flying out today with my sister. I am so excited to see my parents, siblings and fellow kins people but I am going to miss my husband so bad. He is my bestest friend in the whole world and I thought that this would be okay because he gets to join us later but I have to spend 1 month, 1 week and 4 days without my best friend. That is such a long time!!! I sure will miss him!!! I love you Joe Joe!!!

Hinaleis New Swimsuit

So cute her new swimsuit from her aunties and with her hannah montana glasses from walmart she was gorgeous at the beach today! I love this little girl. She brings so much JOY to my life. She is beautiful, every little piece!!!

HA - The Breath of Life

Oh my gosh! I just went and watched HA for the first time, sad I know considering I live 5 minutes away and it is the best thing ever!!!! I loved every single minute of it. With my sister Jenna here we managed to get in for $5 and got hooked up with some awesome seats thanks to a friend!

Okay so this show is so different from anything else in PCC I have ever seen, it is so clean cut and perfect and flows so well. Every person is smiling and you seriously get chills up and down your arms!! You want to cry when the dad dies and clap with the little boy joins in the dancing and throw flowers when the couple gets married, laugh when the Samoans chase the boy away... I could go on forever!!! If you haven't seen it and live 5 minutes away then get your walk on and GO see it!!! It is so good!!! So good in fact that they got a standing ovation at the end!!! I forgot my camera so I didn't get a single pic with my family!

Halloween

Hinalei was so tired on Halloween night. Her Aunty Jenna has brought fairy costumes for all of us and Joe was Peter Pan. Hinalei screamed the entire time she was being dressed. We had fun trick or treating although a lot of people gave us the smallest candy they could when they saw it was for a little baby. We came home and had pizza and drinks with some friends. It was such a great night!

Aunty Jenna is Here!

My sister Jenna arrived in Hawaii on Friday. She is here to take myself and Hinalei back to New Zealand for a vacation. I am a terrible flier, not because I am scared but because I have terrible upon terrible motion sickness. If I don't take Dramamine I will throw up continuously for the entire flight and with a little baby that is not a good combination. It doesn't even matter if it is non drowsy because I am knocked out... Anyways enough about me. She is here for 9 days and we are gonna be shopping, eating out and beaching it the whole time. Her first night she didn't even want to go straight home so we went Cheesecake Factory and Walmart before crashing when we got home about 1am. She absolutely loved seeing Hinalei and takes such good care of her!
