Hinalei 14 months old

Wow! I can't believe that my little girl is 14 months old. We went to see the Fenenbocks baby last night and their little girl Maeli is the almost the same size Hinalei was when she was born. Oh! It makes me so clucky holding and seeing everyone's newborns...hmmm.... Anyways here are just some cute pictures of my growing little girl. In our new apartment she has her own room which she is still getting use, she will still come into our room at about 7:30am and sleep again until 11am if we let her! haha... I love this precious child so much!

Things she loves:
* Colors
* Yo Gabba Gabba
* Saying "ena" (jenna)
* Saying "tan u" (thank you)
* Singing songs
* Reading books
* Playing with her toys
* Bath time
* Exploring the hale
* Carrying heavy things.. seriously this girl is strong!

Things she hates:
* Waking up in her room alone
* Getting her diaper changed
* When her daddy leaves for work
* When Aunty Nic tells her to stop...lol...
* When mummy won't let her eat treats

CheeseCake Factory Celebration

Uh! This post is so old I almost don't feel like finishing it but I am super busy right now settling in to my new job and so forgive me for not being up with it. In celebration of me getting my new Job and my sister Jenna getting names the new Vice President of Honor Code we went out to the cheesecake factory. You know you have been a lot when your husband can get their without getting lost once! I was so proud of him ;-)....

Anyways here are some fun pictures from our night:

Hinalei with her mini bread plate. The waitress seriously treated Hinalei like a princess and charged us nothing for any of her food.

Hinaleis mini penne pasta! She loves pasta so mucho mucho!

Hanging out with the Aunties!

Look how I can drink with a straw!

Hinaleis mini sundae, again from the waitress! She is so spoilt!

IF you haven't tried this....

you are missing out! More to come on our weekend celebration but for now, here is a picture to keep you interested.

It is called:
Chris' Outrageous Chocolate Cake

I hale! You hale! We Hale 5!

If you have lived here on the island for any amount of time, you probably know that hale does not refer to freakishly large pieces of ice. Rather, it means 'house' in Hawaiian (pronounced hah-leh).

Joe and I found out recently that we are going to be moving to a new one! Hale that is..... Woo-hoo. Yep, that's right we are moving in about a week. But not to worry, its only about a half of a mile or less from where we live now.

I applied to become a Hale Coordinator (similar to 'dorm mom' or warden :) for this upcoming 2010/2011 school year. And we got it!

We are moving into this dorm which was my first dorm 5 years ago when I arrived at BYU-Hawaii on April 19th 2005. We are humbled by this opportunity and so excited to serve in whatever capacity Heavenly Father would have us fill. Its going to be a blast!!!
