I don't think I have ever blogged about a movie, maybe the countdown to Twilight but I went to see INCEPTION on the weekend and it is awesome! Great graphics and a super confusing but overall well tied together plot line! I Seriously recommend it to anyone who needs a good movie that keeps you guessing. And the best thing(> > > ) NO sex and NO swearing!

Hinalei 17 months - Beach Day!

So currently I am tied up with check ins and transfers. The summer is over now everyone is moving back into my dorm and so the real work begins again! Yesterday because I had to stay around the dorm Aunty Jenna took Button to the beach! She loved it! Button turned 17 months on July 9th! I can't believe she is almost a 1 and1/2!!! Dunno were the time has gone! She loves to talk in her own little language and her favorite thing to do is to point your eyes and say "eyes". I think she is very proud of it!

4th of July!!!

Aloha! So you know, being from NZ and all that... Independence day is to us a movie about Aliens trying to attack America and then Will Smith being the hero of the day...lol....

Well this past Sunday we actually celebrated independence day the right way, straight up with lots of food and fireworks! It was a lot of fun and I also got to FINALLY... after 5 years in America hear about the real cause for celebration of independence day! This is what I understand... we were no longer under Englands rule, we established the rights of the people, we are free.

Hawaiian Water Park!!!

Yesterday we got to go to the Hawaiian Water Park with all of the student clubs. $10.00 for park entry and lunch! Such a good deal!!! We hung out with Hinalei in the morning so we swam in the little kiddie pool and then we went to lunch and Jenna watched her while Joe and I got to go on the larger rides. The Tornado was definitely the best ride of the day, not to mention I wasted Joe on the island racer! The lunch was so great!!! We had chicken, hot dogs, rice, salad and unlimited refills at the soda machine! So Yummy!!
