Visit with Uncle John

Now that we have settled in to Auckland and Christmas, New Years and a ton of other stuff is finished we have been able to start catching up with some of Joes family that lives here in NZ. On Sunday we went for dinner with his family and it was so much fun. Uncle Johns wife Aunty Lepio makes a delicious ham and she had so much other  food to. Little Joe ate and ate! It was so cute to watch.  Hinalei had a blast with her cousin Mason and bawled when it came time to leave. We definitely are grateful to have both sides of the family here in NZ!

9 months old

Ok... feeling terrible. It has been 3 months since I did a post on our little man... maybe that is a sign to how busy we are with two kids (or maybe a terrible excuse). Either way here we go.

* He currently has 2 bottom teeth with a top one slowly coming down
* He eats anything and loves it - brocolli, noodles, ham sandwich, jelly, fried rice, toast. He will crawl up to you if you are eating and with moan until you give him a piece. I love it so much because Hinalei was so picky
* He is the master crawler but also can walk himself around on one of those learn to walk machines
* He pulls himself up in the crib and makes noise until you wake up and talk to him
* He squeals and pulls faces and loves to sing along to music
* He still kind of struggles with sleeping through the night but I blame it on him teething
* His sister loves to talk to him and I think she is his favorite person

He is such a happy little boy and we love him to bits!!

Happy Birthday!

Whoa! 24 this year! I had a super fun birthday with my families. Pancakes for breakfast, Pedicure, Fried Chicken, Banana cake and Dance Central! It was a great day!

Christmas 2011

Christmas this year was spent in NZ with the family. My sister Nicola came back from Australia and we got to skype with our missionaries in the Philippines and Idaho. They are both doing so well in their service and we couldn't be more proud of them. The kids got spoiled rotten by both sets of Grandparents and our Christmas lunch was delicious.
He is so gorgeous!
