Preschool for Button
Hinalei started preschool this week. She goes 3 times a week for 6 hours a day. I was a little scared partly because I knew I was going to miss her but being her confident little self she just right in there and didn't look back. She has already made plenty of friends and her class has about 12-15 kids all her age. Already in the 3 days she has gone I know she has grown. She has started being more confident about going to the toilet by herself (Hooray!) and she seems to be willing to eat more food. She comes home very tired but loves to tell me about her friends which currently are nameless. I miss her but I know this is good for her. She will move up into primary in the next couple of weeks as well. Gosh where does the time go??

Happy 3rd Birthday sweet girl
My daughter is 3! I can't believe it. It still seems like yesterday we found out we were expecting our first baby. Now she is growing into a beautiful little girl. She has just started preschool (separate post), tear but she loves it and I love seeing her interact with kids her age. She got to have a McDonald party with some of her little friends from nursery and she loved it but I think I might have loved it more (no cleaning).
Here are somethings I want to remember about her at this age:
* She makes her brother laugh the best
* She asked Why at least 20 times a minute
* She will randomly burst into song while we drive or shop together
* She will have a fierce tantrum and then like 5 minutes later will say "Sorry Mum... I am okay now"
* She calls her dad "honey and Peter Pan"
* She would rather wear dresses even if they are dirty
* She loves to help with the vacuuming and egg cracking
* She loves to watch Wonder Pets and thinks that Nemo, Cinderella and Puss in Boots are personal friends
* She is good as putting me in my place about lessons I am trying to teach her like "take turns" or "mummy just relax"
I love her personality so much. Sometimes when I look at the teenagers today I get scared at the possibility of her ever not talking to me or sharing her day or even not wanting to spend time with me. I hope that preschool and other things in life help her to keep her little Spark alive. She has away of befriending everyone. If we are shopping she will look at a stranger and immediately say "Hi! I am Hinalei" and usually people will talk back.
Thank you for coming to us Hinalei! We love you!

Life and a little goof....
So write now the kids are in this terribly cute phase where they are like best buddies. Seriously Hinalei can make little Joe laugh like no one else but she also can smother him and make him howl like no one else. He does take his revenge though, I often hear her scream out because he has a fist full of her hair - ouch! So funny because she has to go to the naughty corner for some stuff but I can't explain to her in fairness terms how little Joe doesn't have to go because he doesn't understand that pulling hair is not okay.
Glow sticks for entertainment
Caught together playing with baking flour - Hinalei was throw in the air whilst little Joe was clap his hands and laughing. I love little Joes face like he just caught! Shopping trolley buddies!
Hinalei always asks "Can you take a picture of us? We are just so cute!"
Swing time!
Sibling bath time... they always have to bath together and Hinalei loves washing little Joe even if he doesn't want her too...
Why children under 4 need carseats. I mean sore neck or what?!
