Do I believe in God?

OK so today I spent most of my mind power dwelling on an article about how fat could equal unrighteousness. Until I found this quote which for me perfectly summed up how I actually felt about the whole thing which then made me realize and ponder on a simple pattern of discerning whether something should actually be worth that much brain power.
1. Do I believe in God.  Do I actually believe in God and in his powerful hand or eye that watches over us and provides and is an all mighty being that is unchanging etc and so forth? Yes!
2. Do I believe that this God then came to a boy (Joseph Smith) ,  called him to be a prophet and revealed his will to him concerning the restoration of his gospel? Do I believe he calls apostles,  exhorts us to follow after him and also  calls a new prophet each time one dies until our current day and also still reveals his will to that prophet?  Yes.
3. Do I believe then that he reveals things today that are current,  apply to our church,  reveals even before hand things we should be doing (family proclamation,  the dangers of pornography, drugs, smoking,  alcohol) long before the world called them into question or suggestion?  Yes.
Then really if you believe their is a God,  that he calls and prophet and continues to give him revelation for our day and with us in mind,  in our day then stop worrying, stop reading what others feel they think they know about the Lords true church and just follow the prophet and apostles for in them is found truth and light.
