Sometimes life

is just hard. Even as a member of the church. It really is just hard. It is hard to focus on every little thing that needs to be done.

Changing diapers upon diapers a day
Trying to start potty training
Washing faces, brushing teeth. making sure that the kids eat nutrious food
Making sure you are nursing your son enough
Oh. Saying morning prayers.
Cleaning house, doing laundry, thinking about lunch....
Running errands
Checking mail.... getting bills :(
Studying for life
Realizing you didn't get a job interview today even though you have applied for 32 jobs in 3 weeks and you are doing everything you can to learn everything you seemed to miss out on in school
Having bonding time
Making dinner
Bath time
Brushing teeth
Reading scriptures
Wait... Did I serve anyone today?
Saying prayers
Getting kids to sleep... rocking and rocking your sons for hours because he is overtired and you have no idea what else could be bothering him
Catching up with friends
Missing friends... A LOT
Still trying to potty train... Missing the toilet by 2 minutes and having to change a stinky diaper
Taking some time for you and your spouse
Worrying about the state of the world and what you kids have to grow up with
OH! and I need to write in my journal
Clean up the last of the dishes
Have a bath

Then miraclously, amazingly through all of the crap and I mean crap that seems to fall into our laps or that Satan every single day your 2 year old daughter offers this prayer:

"Dear Heavenly Father. Peas bless the scriptures, peas bless mummy and grandpa and Aunty Jenna and Daddy and Nanny. Thank you for band aids, Inmaname of Jesus Christ. Amen"

Any you realize that you are making a difference in someones world, that maybe and even if it is just a small someone in this world knows who you are, loves you and appreciates that you are in there world. You realize that Heavenly Father is so real, that he is aware of our weaknesses, our trials, our hardships and like the painting he is always right there, knocking on the door, hoping you will remember to invite him into your home and life each day so that he can make your burdens light.

It is quite an amazing feeling knowing that we are not alone in this world. To know that we do not have to shoulder our burdens alone but that we can hand our yoke to him. I love the gospel and the reaffirmation that this gives to our lives. To know that while Satan is consistently trying to make us miserable like unto himself we don't have to be the natural man and allow him. We can be something better.
